She has represented patent and trademark holders, as well as defended clients accused of infringing another’s patent or trademark. Ms. Walker has defended large biotech companies with hundreds of patents and trademarks in their patent portfolio, as well as small start-up companies with a single patent.
In patent and trademark cases, Ms. Walker fee structure is flexible. She usually works on an hourly rate. In some cases, Ms. Walker will take cases on a contingency fee; meaning that unless you win, Ms. Walker will not receive any attorney’s fees, and you will be responsible only for court and litigation related out-of-pocket expenses.
