
Ms. Walker began her legal career in New York City at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. As a litigator, Ms. Walker handled a variety of legal issues including property law, contract law, tort law, securities law, labor and employment law, first amendment law, bankruptcy law and intellectual property law. While at Paul, Weiss, Ms. Walker received the Legal Aid Society award for outstanding pro bono service.
Ms. Walker then moved to the law firm of Fish & Neave, specializing in intellectual property law. She handled a number of patent, copyright and trademark litigation issues.
In 1998, Ms. Walker moved to San Diego, California working at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison and continued working as an intellectual property litigator.
In April 2001, Ms. Walker opened her own practice providing general legal counseling and litigation services in San Diego.
Ms. Walker has represented a number of large corporations including Revlon, Del Monte Foods, GAF, Castrol, Inc., Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Dun & Bradstreet, Ingersoll Rand, Lehman Brothers, Memorial-Sloan Kettering, and Baxter Health. She also worked for small non-profit organizations and small businesses. Additionally, Ms. Walker has had a number of individual clients, ranging from Michael Milken to the Andy Warhol Estate to pro bono tenants in New York City housing projects. Currently, Ms. Walker is providing litigation services and managing several patent infringement cases filed on behalf of the local San Diego firm of PanIP, LLC.
Ms. Walker is admitted to practice in all of the California and New York State and Federal Courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Second Circuit, the Fifth Circuit, the Ninth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
